Description

The Process

  • The film exits the printer and is guided into the shaker unit via the pre-heater platen. Once inside, the printed film undergoes a dusting and powder application process in the powder bin
  • Excess powder is collected in dual trays and recycled into the top hopper for reuse
  • The powdered film is then transferred to the heating section, where it travels along the platen
  • Under heat, the powder melts and solidifies onto the film
  • As the solidified film exits the heater section, it is cooled by an exit media fan and wound onto the media take-up unit.The completed roll of film can then be removed, ready for final distribution and heat pressing
